Jeantex T3000
is a material with superlative features and the highest technical values in the industry. Weather clothing made of T3000 is breathable, waterproof, windproof, and durable. T3000 was created specifically with sailors in mind.

The high breathability factor is a strong argument in favour of Jeantex T3000. Ret value is the measure of steam abduction resistance. The higher the Ret value the lower the breathability. A conventional polyurethane coated weather jacket provides a Ret value of about 200 Ret. The latest generation of T3000 jackets have a value of less than 12 Ret. And the latest T3000 Xmore has a rating of 5 Ret.

Another important reason smart sailors choose T3000: According to the Euro-standard ENV 343 weather-resistant outdoor clothing is permitted to be called waterproof at a water column of 1,300 mm. Since we consider this insufficient for sailing wear we have engineered T3000 to a standard of 10,000 mm. This ensures that our clothing will be absolutely waterproof, even after strong usage and many washes. Incidentally, a higher waterproof factor would reduce breathability and provide no measurable increase in waterproofness.

The base of the T3000 functional layer consists of very strong Cordura fibre. T3000 Extreme is waterproof, windproof, breathable and extremely resistant to tearing and abrasion. It's just the right material for long, extreme cruises. T3000 Extreme has proven itself in the Ocean-Race series.

T3000 Xmore

Extended moisture regulation. The latest T3000 development in laminate technology provides extreme breathability at the lowest weight. It's waterproof yet very soft and comfortable to the touch. It's not as hard wearing as Race, Extreme, and TCS but the right choice when comfort is most important.

T3000 / TCS

The optimal material for offshore wear. It's a little lighter than T3000 Extreme but with the same level of waterproofness and breathablilty. The very durable and long-lasting Tactel fibre used in this fabric makes T3000 / TCS ideal for extended crusing.
